How the team is organised

4YA runs with a small senior team rather than a pyramid. Each project has a single technical counterpart, following it from scoping through operation. This continuity avoids information loss between phases — the leading cause of drift on technical projects.

In-house disciplines span electronic design and firmware through to language-model orchestration, including computer vision, transactional systems and infrastructure. That span is what lets us place a problem at the right layer instead of working around it.

How we work

No subcontracted engineering. Code is written by the team that will operate it, which aligns incentives: nobody wants to maintain a badly designed system. Deliverables always include operating documentation and recovery procedures, so handover stays possible.

Hiring

We hire slowly and only senior profiles, able to keep a system running in production rather than merely ship a feature. Speculative applications are read, but we only create a role when workload justifies it durably.
